Interprint, part of Norfolk County Services Ltd, will install a Printmaster PM 52-2 two colour press in September to help it meet the growing need for full colour as well as spot colour work.
It means that with two MOs and a single colour GTO it has single and two-colour options in both A2 and B3 formats.
“We scoured the market and it came down to a choice between Ryobi and Heidelberg. Heidelberg won because it will easily integrate into our current plant and we know that the quality and service is very good. The speed of make-readies and wash-ups will enable us to improve efficiencies and reduce customer lead-times.”
The PM 52 is a 13,000 sph machine with a control system emulates that of the B2 PM74, a one button, one function approach. There are standard pre- setting functions and diagnostic electronics on the press.
Interprints’ main customer base comes form the public sector but it also produces printing for a variety of commercial organisations. The type of work produced is comprehensive, from business cards through to full colour promotional materials.
The company has 22 staff and runs from 8am to 11pm daily with both litho and digital copying and full prepress and finishing services.
