Johnson Printers in Nantwich is replacing a SORMZ with a Printmaster PM 74-2, a two-colour which will work in tandem with a Printmaster PM 74-4 bought in 2002 and a Speedmaster SM 52-5E bought in 2003.
Managing director John McMillan says: “Having a two-colour PM 74 means we are working to a common B2 plate size. The new press, which arrives at the end of the month, will handle all our spot colour work but also add seals or special colours to four-colour work when required.”
The Printmaster range offers the quality of the Speedmaster but with reduced speed and with levels of automation to suit each customer’s specific requirements. Johnsons of Nantwich have specified a basic machine which the minders will be comfortable running.
The company has been in business since 1827 and today handles a range of business, predominantly from agencies in the Birmingham to Manchester region
